Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Plant and Tool Fitter based in Wembley

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced plant or tool fitter to join their team.

  • £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary for a 45 hour week

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Plant/Tool Fitter or similar role, experience in petrol and diesel engines, electrics, and mechanical equipment will also be considered
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of plant and tool operations and maintenance requirements
  • NVQ level 3 in Heavy Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholder
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting diagnostic tests and troubleshooting faults on petrol and diesel engines, electrics, and mechanical equipment.
  • Performing repairs and maintenance tasks on various plant and tool assets, including engines, generators, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Carrying out scheduled servicing and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Documenting all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage accurately.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team and other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
