Our client are a leading provider of smart home solutions, transforming ordinary residences into extraordinary living spaces. They are seeking a talented Senior AV Engineer to join their team and play a key role in creating exceptional experiences for their clients.

Responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring home automation systems, including home cinemas, lighting control systems, and other integrated solutions.
• Conducting site visits to assess client requirements, providing expert recommendations, and developing customized solutions.
• Collaborating with clients, architects, and interior designers to ensure seamless integration of technology into the home environment.
• Programming and integrating control systems, including Control4 and Lutron, to deliver intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly to maintain system functionality.
• Providing training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of installed systems.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to offer innovative solutions to our clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior AV Engineer with expertise in home automation, including the installation and maintenance of home cinemas, lighting control systems, and various home automation equipment.
• Strong knowledge of control systems, particularly Control4 and Lutron, with the ability to program and integrate these systems effectively.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, system schematics, and architectural plans.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• A passion for technology and a desire to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.
• Relevant certifications such as CEDIA, or manufacturer-specific certifications would be highly advantageous.

Package

• Permanent Employment Contract (45 hours per week)
• Up to £45,000 basic salary depending on experience levels and skillsets
• All sensible and pre-agreed work related expenses paid
• 22 days paid holiday, increasing by 1 day for every year worked up to 25 days.
