Installation Engineer (Full time) Kent

Salary: £33,000 - £36,000

Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:30 am - 17:00 pm

Location: Kent (Rainham)


  1. Install equipment following company and installation procedures, optimizing time and minimizing costs.
  2. Ensure comprehensive knowledge of products and local health and safety requirements, maintaining professionalism and safety on customer premises.
  3. Complete and submit all relevant documentation accurately and within agreed deadlines.
  4. Notify staff of purpose for visiting customer premises and seek permission before commencing work; leave the work area clean, dispose of parts and chemicals as per site instructions, and complete required documentation.
  5. Provide feedback and recommendations to my client after customer visits, contributing to ongoing improvements in products and services.
  6. Maintain personal appearance and hygiene to company standards.
  7. Keep tools, spares, and equipment in safe working condition.
  8. Communicate with customer contacts regarding appointment times and work duration to ensure customers are well-informed.

  • Experienced in following Health and Safety guidelines and conducting Risk Assessments for safe work.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a "Can Do" attitude in problem-solving.
  • Willing to learn and develop new technical and commercial skills.
  • Willing to stay overnight for remote work to maximize on-site time and minimize travel.
  • Capable of building good working relationships with colleagues.
  • IT literate.

Essential Experience:

  • Trained and experienced in carrying out LOLER tests on Care Home or similar equipment (with full training provided).
  • Experience with Installation Engineering
  • Ability to work at heights (PASMA & IPAF).
  • Must possess a clean driving license.
  • Must complete a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check for work in sensitive environments with vulnerable people.
  • Proficiency in operating plant machinery for drilling and cutting materials.
  • CSCS card required.
  • Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
  • Knowledge of building and construction materials and plumbing.
