Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer

Location: Birmingham and Surrounding areas

My client are a leading fire and security company based in Manchester, providing high-quality fire and security solutions to commercial and residential clients. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire and Security Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain and repair fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV systems, access control systems, and intruder alarms
• Perform regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure that all systems are functioning correctly
• Respond to emergency call-outs and provide technical support to clients
• Provide technical advice to clients and assist with the design of fire and security systems
• Keep up-to-date with the latest fire and security technologies and industry regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all work carried out

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in fire and security engineering
• A strong technical background, with experience in a range of fire and security systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle for travel to client sites

Fire and Security Engineer Package offered:

• Basic salary £34,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
• Company devices for work - Phone, laptop
• Location - West and East Midlands
• Company pension
• Call out rota is 1 in 6
• Lots overtime available and paid time and a half
• Lots of room for growth
• 28 days holiday
• Ongoing training courses
