Location: Birmingham and Surrounding Areas

Salary: Up to 36k, dependent on experience

Our client is a reputable and established fire and security company based in the West Midlands, providing top-quality services to both commercial and residential clients across the Oxfordshire and surrounding area. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, install, maintain and commission new and existing fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and other related systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently.
• Work closely with our clients to identify their needs and provide them with bespoke solutions that meet their requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain good relationships with clients.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of fire and security systems.
• Excellent technical knowledge and practical skills in installation, maintenance, servicing and commissioning of fire and security systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel across the Oxfordshire area

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications in fire and security engineering or equivalent.
• CSCS/ECS card preferred.
• FIA Units 1 & 5 qualifications would be an advantage.
