Technical Development Engineer – Lancashire

Salary: Negotiable up to £27,000.00 + six weeks annual holiday + contributory pension.

Alecto Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking an Technical Development Engineer based in Lancashire. The role is a challenging position to provide research, process development & improvements, and technical support to manufacturing as well as our customers.

Must be from a Technical engineering background (Injection mould preferred)

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and trialling new Polymer Grades for manufacturing; trialling and co-ordinate the handover of new tooling and equipment to manufacturing and conducting testing on our customer production lines.

The role is wide and varied and other aspects will include providing technical support to business and operations, undertaking technical investigations, as well as other related duties incidental to the nature of the work. In all aspects you will ensure technical activity is compliant with all company and external regulations, standards and codes and is signed-off by relevant Technical Authorities

Candidate will have:

- Hands on experience

-A broad technical background, preferably with an engineering degree qualification.

- At least three years’ experience in Injection Moulding processing

- Have proven skills in managing multiple projects as well as your own time.

Salary is negotiable up to £27,000, six weeks annual holiday and contributory pension scheme are offered.
