Solar PV Design Engineer – Southampton

Salary/Package – £20k – £24k basic + Benefits

My client are an established and well respected Supplier, Designer and Installer of Solar PV ( Photo-Voltaic ) and Solar Thermal systems on the South Coast.

Due to their New Build division winning new contracts they require a Solar PV Design Engineer to join them.

As the Solar PV design Engineer you will support the commercial team in delivering drawings and documents for various projects and aid in submitting planning applications for both commercial and domestic projects.

Duties

- To submit planning applications for both commercial and domestic projects.

- To design tendering commercial projects using 3D visuals and 2D drawings.

- To design detailed drawings for deliverable commercial projects.

- To provide design support with bespoke domestic projects.

- To support Project Engineers in applying for G59/2 permission.

- Producing Operation and Maintenance Manuals for completed projects.

- To support Project Engineers in applying for MCS certificates for completed projects.
