SHIFT ELECTRICAL FITTER, BIRMINGHAM – £30K INC SHIFT ALLOWANCE

Our client, a leading waste management company, has a requirement for an experienced Electrical Fitter/Maintenance Technician to join the team at their Anaerobic Digestion plant in Birmingham.

As Shift Electrical Fitter/Maintenance Technician working 4 days on/off alternating, 12 hours day/night and reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance on the equipment and servicing activities the plant, which operates on a 24/7 basis. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring health & safety and environmental legislation is strictly adhered to whilst championing continuous improvement in order to ensure maximum productivity and plant availability.

To be considered for this role you’ll need to be educated to a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in an electrical discipline and have extensive experience in an Electrical Fitter / Technician / Engineer role, preferably from a water treatment/sewage farm. Mechanical knowledge would be highly advantageous although not essential.
