Senior Network Administrator Jobs – North Hampshire – Up to £30,000 + Excellent Benefits

Our client, a well-established Software Solutions Provider based in North Hampshire is looking for a Senior Network Administrator to join their busy Network Admin team.

The team is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, located both on site and externally hosted and ensuring that these services run with minimal downtime for both their customers and internal staff.

This is a varied and interesting role providing support to both our clients customers and their office based and field based employees with varied technical requirements from desktop users through to Software Development and Testing Labs.

This senior role will focus on

• 2nd/3rd level support

• day-to-day leadership of the team

• network and data security

• IT projects related to infrastructure improvement and upgrades

• improvements to internal processes and tools (e.g. licensing and asset management)

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years relevant experience, be customer focused, and be Microsoft and/or Cisco certified. It is essential that they have good communication and project skills, an excellent attention to detail and a consistent approach to their method of working.

They should have experience of supporting a broad range of products and technologies:
Microsoft Server products (OS, Exchange, SQL etc)

Networking, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IPSEC VPN

Managed switches and firewalls, layer 3 switching, VLANs

VMWare vSphere products and virtualisation

VOIP telephones
