Senior Infrastructure Consultant – Central London – £35 – 50K + Bonus + Car + Pension + BUPA

My client, an IT Software Solutions provider with offices around the UK requires an experienced, enthusiastic and professional individual to join an established technical consultancy team based in Central London. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for the implementation, testing and documentation of complex infrastructure projects and will interface closely with pre-sales consultants, helpdesk and project management staff. A background in [server and application] virtualisation is essential.
Candidates should have extensive experience (CCA minimum, CCEA preferred) in Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenServer and Citrix Access Gateway with experience in Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix NetScaler an advantage.

Microsoft Windows Server skills should be MCSE level or equivalent with Microsoft Exchange skills also being high on the list. Engineering experience in VMware ESX/vSphere 4 is also essential, VCP certification is preferred.

All candidates are expected to have solid working knowledge of Storage-Area-Networks; experience implementing and managing EMC SAN’s would be advantageous, though not essential.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years engineering and consultancy experience, preferably with a history in a helpdesk/support role and must be willing to travel (nationwide) on a regular basis.
