Renewable Energy Manager: South West

Salary – £30k – £34k

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Renewable Energy / Solar Manager to join a well established Renewables company based in the South West.

You will be responsible for the teams installing Solar PV and Solar Thermal and will be the technical lead for the company. You will also be responsible for the design of all systems and for quality control of work undertaken.

You must have experience in the renewables industry with ideally an engineering degree or equivalent.

Ideally for the role you will be based in the Devon region.

Duties include:

• Manage renewable energy operations department, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Handle recruitment of suitably qualified personnel and sub-contractors.
• Provide leadership in Health and Safety as part of the line management responsibilities.
• Oversee all technical and operational activities related to the delivery of sustainable development, low carbon & renewable energy consultancy services / projects.
• Act as a project manager, liaising with the client and project team to set the project scope and ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
