Our Client is looking for an extremely experienced Planning Engineer to join their oraganisation.

Start date: ASAP

Location: South East England

Salary: TBC, dependant on experience.

Candidates must be competent with the following dutuies/responsibilities/tasks:

To provide planning cover for the planning disciplines in which he has been trained, and to actively participate in further training.

To provide assistance and information to the Estimating Section.

Liaisons with all appropriate company departments to ensure preparation of a work programme for maintenance of designated aircraft within set departmental and company time scales.

Production of a work specification, work package and work cards for all planned inputs allocated to him, including preparation of customer-supplied work packages for use by the Production Department.

Preparation of planning charts, pre-load and associated documentation in respect of all planned inputs.

To advise on material requirements and to monitor spares/tools shortages and revise the work programme as necessary.

To arrange chair and ensure planning and pre-load meetings are held to discuss each aircraft input and associated workload with all the departments concerned.

To guide the control of work packs issued to Production and liaise with Commercial to facilitate the compilation of actual hours recorded for recharge purpose.

To monitor actual progress and to update the planning package as required, including production of new work cards as required.

Ensuring that the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to in the area of his responsibility.

To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Production Planning management.
