Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineering Graduate – Lancashire

Salary: Negotiable up to £20,000, 6 weeks annual holiday and contributory pension scheme are offered

Alecto Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking a Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineering Graduate to join the Operations team. My client is a market leader who manufactures injection moulded containers for the food and DIY industries.

It is envisaged that you will spend the first twelve months working hands on within the manufacturing, engineering, technical and commercial departments.

You will be liaising with suppliers, internal staff, working very closely with the management team getting involved in Engineering Projects, Improving Quality, and Continuous Improvement work. You will identify ideas to enhance the manufacturing process and implement improvements onto the shop floor.

The successful candidate will have:

- Good degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering/Operations with proven interest in the manufacturing industry

- Work experience (holiday work or placement) within a manufacturing environment and understanding of all areas of factory management

- Excellent communication and practical skills

- Ambition to succeed within manufacturing

- Ability to work as part of a team as well as working on your own imitative.
