GENERAL MANAGER, WASTE MANAGEMENT, E/LONDON – £NEG + BENEFITS

Our client, one of the UK’s leading waste management companies has a requirement for a General Manager to join their operation in East London.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall management and operation of a busy waste management site based in East London in order to maintain best practice & maximum profitability whilst ensuring compliance with all legislative, statutory and Company requirements.

To be considered for this position, you’ll need to have previous experience within the waste management industry as a General Manager, or as a MRF (Materials Recycling Facility) Manager/Depot Manager/Operations Manager of a large waste treatment facility. You’ll also need to be a ‘driven’ individual with excellent commercial and business acumen, have a sound knowledge of current waste market trends and possess excellent communication skills. Experience within the Paper Trade would be a distinct advantage!
