Contracts Manager / Install Manager – Solar – Milton Keynes

Salary – £35k – £38k + Vehicle, Bonuses.

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Contract Manager / Install Manager based in the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northampton area’s to join one of the UK’s leading renewable energy organisations.

My client have been established for almost 4 years within the renewables industry, they have an excellent financial backing and specialise in Solar Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal and Ground Source & Air Source Heat Pumps. They are growing rapidly within the industry and are expanding throughout the UK with offices in the North and South.

Due to their continued growth and expansion they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager / Install Manager who ideally has experience in the Solar PV market however this is not essential.

We are looking for an experienced professional who has contract negotiation & contract management experience.

Requirements:

- Supervisory experience in roofing or electrical (ideally in both)

- Track record of managing and negotiating with subcontractors

- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S requirements

- Track record of operational planning, quality control

- Track record of cost controlling

- Track record of technical problem solving

- Track record of successful customer management

- Strong roofing and/or electrical experience

- PV installation and site survey experience (preferred)

Qualifications:

- NVQ L3 electrical installations

- C&G 2382 (or 2360)

- C&G 2391

- C&G 2372 or 2399 solar PV or equivalent

- CSCS card

- Advantage if has been a qualified supervisor for a competent person scheme

- Full/clean UK driving license
