Construction Manager (Renewable Heating)

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a construction manager based in the Somerset region to work with a specialist within the Renewable Energy sector. Our client is specialists within Biomass, Solar PV, Solar Thermal and Heat Pumps and seek a professional from the renewable heating sector.

The Position:

Design on-site heat and power renewable energy systems (small to large scale, commercial, industrial, district heating schemes e.g. biomass, solar thermal)

Contribute to the bid process; providing technical advice to the Commercial Team. Sourcing and selecting components, production of full drawings, estimates and actual costings and calculation of system efficiencies/output. On-site control of installation and full commissioning responsibility. Provision of technical advice to staff and customers.

Essential skills and experience:

Proven track record of pipeline design and supervision of installation, ideally with biomass, heat pumps, solar thermal and CHP. Experience of system analysis, fault diagnosis and commissioning. Building site experience as well as office operations.

HNC Qualfications are ideally suited for the position and it will be beneficial for you to have a sound understanding of the Biomass sector.
