Commercial / Operations Manager
Our client is one of the largest and most successful waste management companies with over 300 sites throughout the UK. They are looking to appoint a Commercial/Operations Manager with experience of procuring waste paper for one of their sites in East London.
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day to day running of a multi-disciplined site which primarily sorts high grade waste paper along with dry comingled waste, whilst ensuring that H&S and EA legislation is strictly adhered to. In addition, you’ll be speaking to new and existing clients to procure additional waste paper streams in order to grow the business.
To be successful you’ll need to have moved in to commercial management from an operational role with extensive experience in the procurement of waste streams and excellent man management skills. You’ll also need to have a full working knowledge of budgetary expenditure, SLA’s and KPI’s along with good communication skills and PC literacy.
A full UK driving licence is also essential.
