CNC MILLER / MACHINIST, SOUTHAMPTON. £12-£16P/H DOE

Our client, a leading precision engineering company to the automotive sector looking for a time served CNC Miller / Machinist to operate their Hurco VM range of machines at their site in Southampton.

As an ideal candidate you’ll process both skills and experience in programming, setting, and the operation of CNC Milling Machines and working with a wide range of materials. You’ll also be programming in both conversational and G code disciplines.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be a time served machinist with extensive experience within a precision engineering environment, coupled with a good understanding of machining techniques. You’ll also need to be capable of programming both on and off machine controls and possess experience with 4th axis programming. Knowledge of Hurco VM Machines and HURC VM Winmax Software would be a distinct advantage although not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading precision engineering company as a CNC Miller / Machinist with an hourly rate of between £12 – £16 p/h depending on experience.

THIS ROLE WILL BE TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT OVER A 13 WEEK PERIOD.
