Application Support Developer Jobs – North Hampshire – Up to £32,000 + Excellent Benefits

Our client, a well-established Software Solutions Provider based in mid Hampshire is looking for a Application Support Developer (VB.NET) to join their small but experienced development team.

This is an exciting opportunity as part of a small team and therefore requires an individual who has a broad experience of the whole development lifecycle. The successful candidate must have:

• proven technical analytical skills

• a logical approach to problem-solving

• the ability to grasp the underlying business processes

• quality ethic and excellent attention to detail

• good interpersonal skills

This is a varied and dynamic hands-on role that will encompass:

• software development of CRM applications

• SQL database development

• business analysis of new requirements

• technical documentation and software testing

• user support and problem analysis

• the creation and maintenance of dynamic MS Excel reports

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of

• VB.NET development

• relational databases

• SQL queries and SQL stored procedures

• MS Excel

Knowledge of VB6 or VBA development, SQL Reporting Services and other reporting tools would be considered an advantage.
